Last year around this time I was planning our big 2020 family vacation (which, like most things, was cancelled due to COVID).
This year we're making no plans; we're settled into what might be a long lockdown, and our one outing this week was a trip to Costco.
Things could be worse. It's not a bad corner of the globe to be locked down in, really. We've been enjoying daily neighbourhood walks, and the sun has made an appearance two days in a row.
This good day
It is a gift from You
The world is turning in its place
Because You made it to
I lift my voice to sing a song of praise
On this good day

(Seeing the little guy in net always makes me smile. :))
We don't know what the future holds, but we know the Lord's mercies are new every morning, His faithfulness is great, and underneath us are His everlasting arms.
