A very kind homeschool family invited us over to learn about dairy farming. They gave us a fantastic, informative tour!
After touring the barns, Janice taught us cheese-making.
What a privilege to enjoy this Christian couple's warm hospitality!
Who is like the Lord our God, Who dwells on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth? He raises the poor out of the dust, And lifts the needy out of the ash heap, That He may seat him with princes— With the princes of His people. He grants the barren woman a home, Like a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord! - Psalm 113:5-9

These Days & Nights
Just some pics from around home. We're loving these bursts of summer weather!
Holls came over on her birthday. :)
We've long been enamored with this place - the "Mystery House" of the neighbourhood - and it is still more lovely and mysterious now that some fairy sowed the whole front lawn with twilight blue flowers.
Walking home from the beach tonight...
Our hearts are full with gladness and thankfulness to God for all His good gifts!

February & March
We enjoyed the Welland Canal/St. C museum. They had special activities for Family Day, including a tour of the museum vault. I had no idea how much was stored away in a museum vault; typically 90% or more of a museum's treasures are kept hidden away, in order to better preserve them.
In the Port Dalhousie display it was interesting to note that back in the day persons walking down the street in "bathing costume" would have been prosecuted!
It was lovely to have Chris here from WA for a visit! And Bets, who joined us one afternoon. :)
Our sweet 15 year old. When time allows she is quite happy to plan a fancy afternoon tea with her little sister.
And Joseph is also not averse to joining in if food is involved.
The above picture reminded me of tea party pics from many years ago.
Joseph's facial expressions and his tastes in "dress-up" vests and hats haven't changed much...
The younger kids from the homeschool group got to watch chocolate chip cookies being made at a local bakery.
And on another occasion, we met up with some others at the Agape Valley sugar bush.
Come Thou fount of every blessing,
Tune our hearts to sing Thy praise.
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise!
